Submit a purchase request

Submit a payment instrument for debit from the consumer and credit to the merchant Supports:

  • Purchase
  • Pre-Authorisation

To submit a pre-authorisation txntype 10 should be used.

Pre-authorisations are only supported on Credit Card payment instruments.

The paymentInstrument object defines how the payment is submitted — whether by card number (PAN), digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay), saved token, Mastercard Click to Pay, or network token.
