This document highlights general definitions used throughout our documentation.

Term	Definition
Auth Token	An authorisation token created by Connected Payments
x-auth	An x-authentication-token created by Connected Payments
Merchant	A business processing transactions
CC	Credit Card
PAN	Primary Account Number (Credit Card Number)
URL	Uniform Resource Locator
Hostname	The name given to the host of an interface, network, etc.
Path Part	The path to be appended onto a URL for processing
Parameters	Operational fields to be sent with a request for processing
LUHN	Simple checksum formula used for validation
ECM	A two-digit field that describes the card transaction category being used
