Dynamic Surcharging

Overview

The Dynamic Surcharging APIs allow merchants to calculate and manage card surcharges in real time. Create surcharge tables by card type and apply them dynamically during checkout to comply with surcharging regulations.

• Calculate surcharges before processing a transaction
• Create and manage surcharge tables by card type
• Apply surcharges to hosted and embedded payment pages
• Update or delete surcharge configurations as needed

API Endpoints

• Calculate surcharge for a bin — Calculate the applicable surcharge for a card
• Create surcharge for a customer — Set up a new surcharge configuration
• List surcharges by customerId — Retrieve all surcharge configurations for a customer
• Retrieve surcharge by surchargeId — Get a specific surcharge configuration
• Update surcharge for a customer — Modify an existing surcharge configuration
• Delete surcharge by surchargeId — Remove a surcharge configuration
